With a unique spin on the classic cheesecake, as well as other delicious cakes, Keki Modern Cakes is the product of three friends who set out to recreate the delicious pastries and desserts they enjoyed on their travels to Asia. Using only the freshest ingredients, the free-range eggs are sourced from upstate New York, and their organic dairy products are from the Amish in Lancaster, PA. Each of their cakes and desserts is made from scratch in-house every 20 minutes. Their Chinatown location also holds a special place for the partners as it is a neighborhood they often visited while growing up, so it made sense to launch their business here. In April 2017, Keki opened on Mott Street and since then, has expanded to a second midtown location.
