Nom Wah Tea Parlor has been around in the city since the 1920s, and therefore has made quite the name for itself in Chinatown. It has become a true neighborhood staple and prides itself on being “the first dim sum parlor in Chinatown.” Of course this tea parlor has some of the most “quali-tea” teas in New York, but what really drives home the support of this establishment is the dim sum that goes with it. Dim sum, the small dishes paired with tea, comes in a variety of types of foods, and Nom Wah Tea Parlor seems to have it all. From many kinds of dumplings to sticky rice to egg rolls to pork buns to scallion pancakes, the list goes on and on. Afternoon tea never tasted so delicious.
