The Paley Museum

The Paley Museum is the perfect place to host a unique, fun, and memorable children’s birthday party. Parties can accommodate up to 25 children, and offer 90 minutes of gaming followed by 30 minutes of celebration. Guests are welcome to explore The PaleyGX gaming studio, as well as the Virtual Reality Lab, for those who are 12 and up. These activities are naturally appealing to children of all ages, while the rest of the museum will also appeal to any child with an interest in media. Parties are private, safe, and easy, with the museum taking care of the mess, so you and your family can enjoy a stress-free celebration. At The Paley Museum, the history and impact of television and radio are explored through exhibitions, screenings, conversations and access to the Paley Archive. The Paley Center for Media, the nonprofit organization behind the museum, maintains an international collection of more than 160,000 programs from over 70 countries, spanning more than a century of television and radio history. Visitors to the New York museum can explore the archive, attend screenings, visit exhibitions and participate in programs such as conversations with curators. The museum also houses PaleyGX, a gaming and VR space, along with the Bennack and Gillespie theaters. The museum is open Wednesday through Sunday, and children under 12 currently receive free admission.
