It just so happens that Angelina Bakery NYC’s hot cocoa is part of a cross-continental blend of flavors that the bakery offers. The bakery’s head chef Tony Park, who is of Korean descent, but born in Palermo, Italy, has crafted a menu that aims to pull from both sides of his heritage in an Asian-inspired Italian bakery. Park was raised from a young age by a Sicilian family and studied pastry at Scuola Alberghiera of Palermo. After he started his career as a pastry chef in Italy, he decided in his twenties to try and make it in the states. Located in the bustle of Midtown, Angelina’s hot chocolate can provide a much-needed sense of rich serenity.
